Ashley
As our New Patient Coordinator, Ashley’s bubbly and sweet personality welcomes everyone that she meets. An Evansville native, the graduate of Reitz and USI (she cheers, “Yippee, West Side!"), brings a very special touch to our team. From running x-rays to baking cookies for our hospitality bar, Ashley is truly a team player. This married mother of a precious toddler, Ashley enjoys country music and is a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.On a day off, Ashley enjoys Target and Kohl’s and dining at Olive Garden. Even though her dream vacation is Hawaii, Ashley truly enjoys any time with her family, especially winter as she likes snow. Up late at night with her chocolate lab, Browning, you might find her enjoying Oreos and milk, but at work she says that she “enjoys the awesome team that we are and helping people achieve gorgeous smiles!” Ashley develops trusting relationships with new Wells Orthodontic patients, and we are blessed by her giving heart daily. Carissa A Kentucky girl, Carissa graduated from Southern High School in Louisville, KY and remains a strong fan of the Louisville Cardinals. Never found without a smile, Carissa not only cheers for her children at St. John School, she and her husband coach most of their sports. She is a talented seamstress and amazing videographer who updates our Wells Ortho website and keeps the office from being technically challenged. On her day off, Carissa hits the ground running as a wonderful cook who dreams of vacations on any sun-filled beach. The last song this lady on the go downloaded on her I-Pod was Keith Urban’s,“Kiss the Girl”as she drove off to enjoy some Wick’s Pizza in her hometown of Louisville. Carissa has returned with her family to Evansville from Northern Kentucky, and we are more than delighted to have her gifts. She is proud to be the newest member of Team Wells and is ready to share her creative ideas! Welcome Carissa! Emily
Emily is Wells Ortho’s “bride to be”, and we are so excited to share this important time in her life. She is a graduate of North Knox High School and USI. She cheers for Notre Dame, the Colts, and the St. Louis Cardinals. When she was young, she dreamed of becoming a singer and today dreams of vacationing in Hawaii and driving a Ford Power Stroke. You may find “Emilia” curled up with her favorite book, The Notebook, listening to Lady Antebellum, watching Dirty Dancing, and kicking back some Oreos and milk.Emily’s fun and laid back demeanor is a perfect fit for Team Wells Orthodontics. She says that she really enjoys working with all of the wonderful patients, awesome co-workers, and Dr. Wells. She enjoys hanging out with her hero, her mom, who is the lady that Emily strives to become. You may find Emily dining at El Maguey or shopping at American Eagle or playing her favorite, Mario Cart Wii. A Kentucky native, Kerri grabs everyone’s attention with her sweet demeanor and her fabulous southern accent. Kerri graduated from Hopkinsville High School where she was a cheerleader and homecoming queen (we have seen the pictures!) Today she studies and practices yoga, but as a child dreamed of being a ballerina. This spunky mother of a teenager enjoys long weekends at Lake Barkley and time with her family, friends, and dog, Dexter, who is found some Fridays hanging around Wells Orthodontics enroute to the lake.Kerri’s all time favorite restaurant is P.F. Chang’s and she likes to shop at any mall. She is a fan of all of the Midwest’s seasons and her mantra is “Love this Life!” Kerri is a big Wells Orthodontics fan and we are so much better with her on our team. Meet Leslie! Yes, you are probably related to her, and if there is a small chance that you are not, this friendly super mom of three children will certainly find something that you have in common. Class act is an understatement for Leslie, a graduate of both Mater Dei and Purdue University. She enjoys swimming and a competitive game of tennis. Leslie came to Wells Orthodontics in the spring of 2009 and has been a mover and shaker for us since the beginning.Formerly a schoolteacher at St. James and Holy Rosary, Leslie does a wonderful job of keeping Team Wells Ortho in line and on top. Leslie really has no down time as she is a volunteer for her children’s schools, but you may find her enjoying her favorite snack, graham crackers and milk, while listening to the Black Eyed Peas or cheering on the Castle North Middle Squires! Leslie said that it is Dr. Wells’s friendly and easygoing style that helps make Wells Orthodontics a great place to work. It is Leslie’s fun and positive attitude that makes her a perfect fit for our group. Miranda
The first smile that you will encounter in our state of the art facilities is Miranda’s, and she will probably know your name and have some good news for you. This lovely mother of two has been welcoming patients for nearly a decade, and she is great at helping patients get their dates and times in order and answering any questions. As the Front Office Coordinator, Miranda says the team is like a family that really cares about each other and works together for the best for our patients.Miranda is the fabulous voice that answers when you call the office and enjoys dining at Yen Ching and shopping at Hallmark. A Central High School and USI graduate, Miranda enjoys the Black Eyed Peas, Hinder, and the Bee Gees. She follows her favorite quarterback, Peyton Manning, weekends in the fall, her favorite season. This avid collector of pigs is also a compulsive cleaner who dreams of a New England getaway and someday getting her favorite car back, a white Pontiac Firebird with t-tops. As a child Miranda, or RannaPanna as she is sometimes called, thought that she might become a judge but instead finds herself cuddled up with her husband and fun children at night, snacking on a bit of ice-cream and enjoying her favorite movie, The Wedding Singer. Rhnea writes that her greatest joy with Team Wells Ortho is to see the faces of the patients the first time they look in the mirror the day their braces come off. It is an AWESOME moment and she really loves sharing in such a special time. Nicknamed “Nance” by Dr. Wells, Rhnea has been with Team Wells Ortho since the very BEGINNING and Dr. Wells is eternally grateful for her dedication, heart, and true passion for the group and the patients. She is a gift!A graduate of Fredrick Fraize High School, Rhnea is the mother to two smart and talented children and the wife to an amazing, old-school rock and roll husband! She prefers 3 Doors Down, Stained, and Saving Abel and has most recently downloaded George Strait and Saving Abel songs. She is an avid fan of both the UE Aces and the KY Wildcats and looks forward to vacations anywhere near the ocean. You can find her shopping at American Eagle and Charlotte Russe and dining at Olive Garden. She is a porcelain doll and Fenton glass collector and enjoys working out at Fitness World. Susan, our Financial Coordinator, is an Evansville native that graduated from Mater Dei and is married to her best friend, Dave. Quiet at first, Susan is a creative and funny firecracker. Mother of two beautiful adopted daughters and their dog, Roscoe, you will probably find her cheering on Mater Dei or Purdue while listening to everyone from Brad Paisley to Beyonce. She enjoys shopping at Kohl’s and dining at Olive Garden and loves to read or watch a movie, like her favorite, Pirates of the Caribbean.As a child she dreamed of becoming a nurse, but later found out that she faints at the sight of blood so orthodontics is a much more suitable field. Her dream vacation spot is Daytona, but any warm, sunny beach will do. Her dream car is a Mustang, and she really enjoys reading the Twilight series. Susan recently downloaded Carrie Underwood’s, “Cowboy Casanova” and is celebrating her favorite season of the year, fall. A true romantic, Susan gushes that her Dave takes such great care of his family! We are so glad that Susan is a part of our Wells Orthodontic family as well! Tami
Tami received her degrees from Castle High School and USI and is the proud mother of two wonderful children and a long haired Chihuahua, Mr. Bo Jangles. You can catch her curled up with them, perhaps snacking on ice cream listening to Lady Antebellum, reading her favorite book, Intensity by Dean Koontz, or maybe catching up on her favorite movies, The Sweetest Thing and Pay It Forward.A gifted orthodontic assistant, Tami roots for the Colts as well as the Castle Knights, loves to shop at The Buckle, and dine at Olive Garden. On a day off you might find Tami boating, spending time with her great family, reading, or even singing. Tami’s nickname is jokingly, “Shredder” (in reference to our paperless office), but she is a strong and dedicated lady with a huge heart for Wells Orthodontics. Her mantra is, “If the Lord brings you to it, He will get you through it.” She loves creating smiles with Team Wells Ortho and we are grateful for her passion. Tori
A Harrison High School graduate, Tori thought that she might grow up to be a teacher but touches many lives with her career choice of dentistry. Duffster, as she is sometimes called, is strong in her faith, follows the group, Casting Crowns, enjoys getting lost in her bible, and downloading great Christian music on her I-Pod, like her latest, “That’s What Faith Can Do” by Kutless.Tori looks forward to time with her husband and baby and maybe found at her favorite stores, Target and Kohl’s or dining at Red Lobster and Hacienda. She collects Willow Tree Angels and ink pens and currently is focusing on an intense exercise regime. After work, she might curl up with some popcorn and her favorite movie, Hope Floats, or hang out with her hero, her mother. Tori is an inspiration for many. She especially enjoys memories of her time in Honduras while on a dental mission trip. It truly was a life changing experience using her occupational talents to help those who need so much! Tori’s dream car is a ‘65 Mustang and dream vacation would be Hungary, where her father is from! After nearly 15 years in dentistry, Tori truly enjoys touching the lives of others as a member of Team Wells Ortho and we are blessed to have her. Her favorite cases are the more extreme ones where the result is both dramatic and exciting. |
